Digital piracy has recently become concern for those who simply do not understand the internet. Back in late 1990s, the layers of internet were laid down to promote freedom of media & expression at convenience of masses. Technology & Internet has evolved since than and people found an alternative source of entertainment, be that in shape of their favorite TV Shows, Games, Movies or Music. If someone missed his favorite Show episode, could later download an watch with an effort of just a few clicks. Listening to a song on internet or downloading a Hollywood flick on PC have become a requirement of almost everyone.

Than came the revolutionary ipads & tablets to which people are now adopting to… why ? What had really been bad about a PC that did worked in favor of Tablet ? What made people to spend billions on ipad like gadgets ? The answer is simply convenience. Today’s generation will quickly adopt to any technology that brings source of entertainment at ease, just like Internet did. First were the PC’s & now Tablets played a major role in bringing Internet at everyones convenience.

Digital Piracy: Understanding where the problem actually lies

Internet brought ease to desktops and users quickly accepted & adopted the change, but those who did not changed were the Entertainment Industry. The entertainment industry that consists of various big-fish industrialists almost completely failed to offer their products at consumers convenience. For example, today still Movies & Music is majorly offered in shape of Physical Discs (Blu Ray, DVDs, CD’s Cassates), majority of TV shows are not officially aired via internet (with exception to few). Thus, masses adopted to Torrents, P2P Networks (like kazaa, limewire) and various websites that offered the content with minimal costs of internet.

So, this is where the industrialists failed to research & understand the psychology of interests of the upcoming era, and did not invested in Digital alternative that would have had been a necessary move. As a result today Music companies & Hollywood backed copyright companies (to name a few, Disney, Sony, Warner Bros, Universal, MPAA, RIAA) today are crying out loud and are spending millions to stop people downloading & watching to something they wanted to sell for huge costs. Entertainment industry today is busy in spending & lobbying various law entities, to restrict the Freedom of Internet that once was laid down back in 90s.

All they still want is to let people buy Movies & Music in shape of easily loose-able, frequently damage-able, and too-pricy DVD & Blu Ray discs. Even if they made a little online presence with Digital Stores such as iTunes or Amazon, but none of these will click out to masses for a number of reasons:

High Prices: Extremely un-affordable prices for masses.

Non Compatibility of Platforms: Lets say if you Buy an official & licensed version of ‘Avatar’ from iTunes store, you still won’t be able to play on your other Cellphones, Tablets or PCs. But instead people find it way easier to simply download the Source file from Torrents and convert to any Format/Size they wish to, and is playable on any device.

Outdated method of Selling: Users today would want to adopt to a Price Model, that offers access to Unlimited Content selection via Digital Platform, for a fixed minimal monthly Fee Structure. Lets say $9/month, and subscribers can have access to Unlimited selection of movies (including the just-released new flicks), that allows downloads up-to 100 Titles/month

What they have failed to understand is that, they cannot stop peoples; right to share, the right of freedom of expression, right to make choice. Promoting internet censorship is a solution which is problem itself. If one website or P2p network goes down, 100′s replace them to fill the gap. This would go on and on… until their is a solution to this.

The solution itself lies within the problem… and the problem is that Entertainment industry have failed to understand & accept the root cause of the problem. The day they will understand the problem, the way to solution will start eventually.

Apple iPad 3, to finally get confirmed on March 7th 2012 in an upcoming event by Apple. Finally rumors will get shadowed by the confirmed specifications that are yet to be confirmed by Apple next week. According to various sources, the upcoming gadget will boast a 1 Ghz Quadcore (A6/A5x Processor), Retina Display with 2048×1536 Screen Resolution, Supporting LTE (4G), 8 Megapixels rare Camera, and maybe a 2 Megapixels facing camera (doubt-able). In short, iPAD 3 is surely a noticeable upgrade over iPAD 2, yet it has to be seen that how many of us will be willing to upgrade, and will be paying Apple handsome amount of money.

Well the most important question arises…

Are you willing to Upgrade to Apple iPad 3 ?

According to an American survey results, some interesting facts were revealed for instance, the current iPad owners are at-least 3 times more willing to upgrade when compared with Non-iPad users. Means, consumers who already own iPad are much more willing to upgrade than those who never owned an iPAD, which is indeed very interesting finding. Results also revealed that, iPad (1st gen) and iPad 2 users, are very interested to upgrade to the latest iPad 3, because of its more CPU Power & eye-candy Retina Display (boasting high resolution). Considering these facts it can be assumed that iPad 3 will be a huge seller, and is surely ready to set longest queue records & giving some sleepless nights to Apple fans once again.

Below you may find Apple iPad 3 research based infographics.

Imran Khan, one of the most legendary names in the world of Cricket is yet to remain for a long time. To recall for those who are not familiar with the history and biography of Imran Khan who led to an unbelievable victory in Cricket Worldcup 1992 that stamped the name of Pakistan as world champions in the world of cricket.

Cricket Legend; Imran Khan decided to step forward into limelight, and stepped into political environment of Pakistan back on April 25, 1996 in Lahore when he formed a political party called Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI), with a slogan of ‘Justice, Humanity and Self Esteem’. Pakistan Tereek-E-Insaaf chaired by Imran Khan himself have set following goals:

To establish Pakistan as truly Independent & Sovereign State in order to become the Pride for People of Pakistan.

Strengthen State Institutions.

Establish an efficient govt which could protect the life and property of citizen.

Initiate an Educational Revolution, and ensure adequate health services to citizen.

System based on Merits to ensure equal opportunity for jobs and employment and enabling assets ownership to poor.

Private sector friendly environment to ensure more investment and opportunities in this sector.

Place a STOP mark to the ugly VIP culture, instead setting up culture of simple living.

Eliminate draconian laws that give unchecked power to Police and the Agencies or which limit the rights of Citizens.

To take the Economy of country to a level where NO Foreign Aid is required, thus setting up a self developed & self dependent powerful economic system from basics.

Promote relationships with friendly countries.

Though when looking at the goals setup by the party looks overly impressive but are also assumed to be hardly achievable in a country like Pakistan, where since decades things almost all economic & moral activities happen in a very traditionally corrupt system (somewhat similar to India). Where from Police to Land Management Authorities to Government Institutions, everyone is deeply stuck into the wetland filled with bribery and favors. Where the elite class rules like the masters, and rest as slaves. The difference between the rich and poor is increasing by each passing day. Yet no one’s a savior to the poor-middle class, but yes some savior’s are busy saving money by any means possible.

Role of Establishment/Agencies in Pakistan:

It is widely believed that role of establishment & secret agencies (also led by military) has always been too much into Politics of Pakistan. Even the secret agencies have their Political wings of their own. Instead of keeping eyes on countries Internal & Outsider enemies, the establishment & agencies are deep roots into the political system.

It is also believed by many that, Establishment (Military personal) do operate from Behind the Scenes, and can easily make or break any Political Party or its leaders.

Establishment & Ex-Military officers have huge investments in shape of Commercial Ventures, such as Hospitals, Schools, Housing Societies, Infrastructural Development Companies & Commercial Lands. By that it means that Establishment (military) itself is equally involved into Commercial activities (both Institutional & Personal), and have huge stakes in market. Due to these reasons the Military & Establishment have lost its FOCUS on countries Defense against outsiders, and is instead fighting for Power & Business ventures inside the country itself.

Serving Military officers & Ex-Military officers (who are involved in their Personal Business Ventures), by utilizing their PR (personal relations) do interfere the country’s Policies, thus depriving the Rights of the Parliament & People of the Nation, and the democracy.

Political party workers & members are commonly traded, even sometimes forced to make them join the leaders that are favored by Establishment. Such acts make it truly difficult to let the True Democracy prevail.

Role of Establishment has been also believed to be more towards secularism, and far away from teachings of Islam.

Due to their distance from Religion, the results are: Extreme level of Corruption, Bad level of Morality, Violations of Human Rights, Rich getting Richer & Poor gets poorer, Failure of Economy, Failure of countries Defense Policies & even letdown to a nearly Failed Estate.

Root Cause of Problems in Pakistan:

To discuss the psyche of elite class of Pakistan, is where one can find the real solution of this catastrophic economic disorder in the country. The elite class includes, military, ex-military, bureaucrats, landlords, political workers mostly. [Though obviously their is a big number of rich people who are rich in truthfulness, honesty as well as money]. The upper class, unfortunately largely supported by the corrupt Political Parties & corrupt Bureaucracy have found great views to easily evade, make-break or even screw the countries already weak laws and justice system. Let it be the Prime Ministers or Presidents (1990s-2010s) almost everyone had been largely accused of mighty corruption records.

The establishment (military personal who are involved in key govt-public institutional activities, to defense policies), who have ruled the nation since the independence of Pakistan, is solely to be held responsible. Weak policies that encourage corruption and abuse of power are the main accusations usually the powerful establishment is held responsible for. These people are given with UN-declared supreme powers, who are favoring the powerful bureaucracy grow more wildly right under their arms. As a result, the elite class is getting richer, and poor person with little revenues and sources gets bitten by the WILD system.

Major Political Parties

Major political parties like Pakistan Muslim League (PMLN), Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) already have tasted the addictive flavors of powers of the govenment.

PML(N) which ruled twice from 1990-1993 and again in 1997-1999 for a total of almost 5 and a half years.

PPP ruled Pakistan four times, 1973-1977 by Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, 1988-1990 Benazir Bhutto Bhutto, 1993-1996 led by Benazir Bhutto, 2008-2013 led by Asif Ali Zardari (co-chairperson) thus ruled for a almost 13 Years in Pakistan.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf, yet a 15 years old Political party never saw the daylight being into government. Imran Khan the party leader had lost elections twice and is on the struggling side to get into power, in order to rule the already economically weak system.

The PTI Bandwagon

PTI after struggling for 15 years with a neutral & comparatively much cleaner interface, finally showed off their Power & Popularity on 30th October, 2011 in a power show organized at Minar-E-Pakistan, Lahore. The event accelerated the parties progress towards getting itself into limelight. Soon tonnes of Political Workers including many ex-military personal got into wide & long queues to join PTI. Till date over hundreds of both ‘Good’ & ‘Bad’ political workers have joined PTI from various other parties. Many of these were part of PMLQ, PPP & PMLN. Shah-Mehmood Qureshi, another well known and well-reputed politician was welcomed into PTI as Vice-Chairman, but cursed by many of his former-colleagues from PPP. Yet as claimed by many PTI is a mixed bag of both corrupt and allegedly good people backed by the powerful Establishment.

Pros:

A new face with comparatively clean image of Imran Khan.

A third option for the people of Pakistan to choose from.

PTI’s comeback is considered good for a healthy competition within the political environment of Pakistan.

Encouraging issue based politics in Pakistan.

Cons:

Allegedly backed & favored by the powerful Establishment.

The claims of bringing Fresh & New faces into party were proved otherwise.

The poor policy on Disputed Kashmir, and possibilities of throwing the key issue on the back burner, instead of owning an aggressive strategy.

Roping in the same old corrupt former-ministers and party workers, for sake of Funds, Power & Popularity.

Appeals only to young & frustrated Youth, who are ready to blindly endorse this newly powered parties policies.

Compromising on Rules & Policies and High Standards that were once set upon for the party workers. PTI has completely failed to justify this act.

Yet, the powerful Establishment having huge stakes in almost all commercial public sectors is once again, actively involved into local Politics of Pakistan, and very busy in making & breaking of political parties. Only time will tell what will be the consequences of their latest episodes of involvement into politics.

Over 2 dozen (non-limited) well budgeted Hollywood movies did released this year and luckily most of which lived up to the expectations and poured in juicy box office results. Yeah, hollywood keeps pinching back with highly-budgeted and well scripted flicks (with few exceptions), and so did happened this year.

Thor (2011)

Thor, released in April 2011, was a well crafted Sci-Fi Adventure Drama, that won great reviews from critics, and got a 77% rating at Rotten tomatoes. Ashley Edward Miller’s act was highly rated and appreciated. This a a must watch for Fantasy movie fans. – Thor 2 a sequel is coming in 2013…

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 (2011)

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – part 2 worked big time just like its prequel’s and once again got the Blockbuster status in weeks, thus putting an end to the one of Greatest Series of Decades. Harry Potter’s all eight flicks fetched a whopping $7.7 Billion grossed over the decade. An obvious watch for Harry Potter fans as it got 96% rating at Rotten Tomatoes.

Puss in Boots (2011)

Puss in Boots a Kids & Family animation flick, worked better than expected on the Box Office (worldwide). The movie is a prequel to the all time blockbuster ‘Shrek Series’, and the producers had made sure to put in a solid script and charm to this franchise. Yet they seem to have got success when looking at critics reviews, which were generally positive and got 82% rating at Rotten Tomatoes. Reportedly the film recovered its costs in week two itself. Not the one to miss out if you aren’t hesitant with Animation flicks.

Rise of the Planet of Apes (2011)

Yet again, Planet of Apes proved that the Monkey’s show can make good money. Yes the movie worked big time, with a better script, direction and obviously the production budget (93 million), when compared to its first part whichwas released back in the last decade 2001. The movie is for people of almost every age, and won out standing reviews, and a 82% rating at Rotten Tomatoes… this one is not to be missed at any cost.

The Way Back (2011)

The Way Back, If you want me to believe this is truly one of the best Man survival movies besides (127 Hours) and is one of my favorites. The movie won strong critic reviews and was rated 74% at Rotten Tomatoes. Again this very engaging film is a must watch for those interested in human survival movies, and those filmed near the nature.

Source Code (2011)

Source Code rated 92% at Rotten Tomatoes won great critics reviews, and did bountiful box office business. Jake Gyllenhaal the leading actor proved his excellence in his profession… Must Watch

You take 20 deep breaths and tonnes of things are being uploaded, downloaded, shared, converted, encrypted, decrypted, written and read in increasingly virtually & socially dependent World Online.

Yeah, despite the 1000 reasons they hate and want to hate Muslims, their are many people who still believe the golden rules being followed by muslims around the world for over more than 1400 years.

The one being discussed here is the way the muslims bank or is called the “Islamic Financial System“, which differs in many ways than the wild beast economic system aka “Capitalism”. It should be very clear to everyone that, all countries practicing capitalist system, and most of which are already drowned into huge debts be it the biggest example the so-called great United States and Spain as another example.

Capitalism is not only increasing the wealth gap between Rich & Poor, but is also resulting in great debts being incurred by the major players. Lets say, if the U.S economy collapses, than it will have very deep negative impact on almost every country around the world including China, India or even Saudi Arabia (who have loaned billions of Dollars to U.S), and all of this will be at stake when the Dollar collapses.

Those who are wise and want to believe & live realistic have already started to worry about this flop ‘Capitalist’ system, have started protests around the world.

Such is the example of latest campaign “Occupy Wallstreet against capitalism” which has created enough buzz and is catching fire by each passing day.

Lets hope, the sleepy-pork eating forces who are controlling this dirty economic system, will have to bow down, and finally adopt the ever lasting ‘Islamic Financial System’.

Propaganda against the Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi

Just thought to share, some of the marks and impact that Muammar Gaddafi left on the Libyan map. To speak frankly, Qaddafi just like any other leader left some good marks that would be cherished for years to come & bad decisions which led to his downfall (last days of his life), and even did the things which he should have avoided e.g. the street war crisis that lead to deaths of thousands of men could have been avoided if he had chosen to give away his powers.

Though, just like every great leader his this great blunder brought his nation, the worst conditions they could have ever dreamed of…

but must appreciate the great results that he brought in his (non-democratic) but still great systematic regime. Following were the results of his policies, for his great nation Libya.

Libya & QADDAFI … facts that cannot be denied.

There is no electricity bill in Libya. Electricity is free of cost for the nation.

Interest-Free loan. Loans are completely pure and filth like interest is NOT applied. Result: the poor people also enjoy the loan, and are free of interest burdens.

Home is considered as human right in Libya. It is governments priority to provide a home to every citizen.

Newly weds couples in Libya receive are given $60,000 Dinar (USD 50,000 equilant) by the government to help them settle and start their family.

Education and Health services are complete Free in Libya. Literacy rate was 25% before Qaddafi, and today it is around 83%. (impressive)

Libyans, who are interested in setting up farming career, would receive farming land, a farming house, equipments, seeds and livestock to kick- start their farms, and all this FREE of COST.

If a Libyan citizen needs Education or Medical Service which is not available in their homeland, than in that case the Govt. of Libya funds their citizen to go abroad and fulfill their educational or health related needs, and also allocates them USD 2,300/month accommodation.

Cars in Libya are subsidized 50% (half the price) by the government.

Petrol costs $0.14/Liter in Libya.

Libya does NOT have any external debt and its foreign reserves account for nearly $200 billion.

Incase a Libyan is unable to get employment after the graduation, than the govt would
pay the average salary of his applicable profession, until the appropriate job is found.

A portion of Libyan oil sale is, credited directly to the bank accounts of all
Libyan citizens.

Every mother who gives birth to a new-born baby gets $5000, cash support.

40 loaves of bread in Libya costs $ 0.15

Almost 25% of Libyans have are graduates.

I am sure, most of those who did not knew about these facts, must have been shocked and impressed by his nearly UN-matchable performance because of his policies, and did gifted his nation with the great results.

As i said, even the Great leaders do make big blunders, so he did and had to pay its price.
