Former NASA astronaut Leland Melvin is famous not only for his work space, but also for a NASA photograph taken with his cute dogs. Now he is at the spotlight thanks to some Twitter exchange about odd sights in distance.
Melvin fielded a question a week by Scott Waring, creator of the favorite site UFO Sightings Daily. Waring requested for Melvin’s”perspective about the existence of intelligent alien life residing in our solar system” and if the retired astronaut had witnessed a UFO.
Melvin, who is logged over 565 hours in distance, replied by saying that he has not seen a UFO in space or on the floor.
He wrote that he and NASA astronaut Randy Bresnik predicted down to the floor to inquire what it was. Melvin explained it as”translucent, curved, and natural appearing” and then inserted an alien-head emoji in the close of the tweet.
Waring responded with a”Wow!” And inquired if NASA could have whined about what the thing was. Do not think so but you never understand .”
If we are searching for an excuse for an odd sighting in distance, ice hockey seems like a perfectly sane person. Melvin’s final space mission happened once the shuttle Atlantis seen the International Space Station in 2009, and it seems Earth has not been inhabited by organic/alien-like creatures since then.
CNET has achieved to Melvin to determine which assignment he was about when he watched the thing and what he believed it may be.
